Hello and welcome to the Westmere Parent Teacher Association (PTA) web page. A special welcome if you're a new family joining us for the first time this year. Westmere PTA is a longstanding tradition and has always been supported by our wonderful Westmere community. It's a great way for parents and teachers to exchange information and ideas, and to join forces to do great things for the school.

Who are we and what do we do?

The money raised goes towards things such as technology in classrooms, sports uniforms and equipment, school improvements, camps, trips and treats for large school events etc. We recently purchased a new cover for the school pool to help maintain the temperature and new gazebo’s for school events and sports days. We encourage parents to join our meetings and welcome you to contribute as much or as little as you please.

We would also like to acknowledge our amazing group of helpers who sort lunch orders on a Friday: Kate Johnstone, Kristie Humpheries, Elaine McNabb, Linda Wilkins-Teztlaff, Moana Reid, Novi Patterson, Renee Beatson, Susan Cameron and Allena Timmins.

A huge thanks to you, the families of Westmere, for your ongoing support with our fundraisers and lunch orders. Our children are lucky to be part of such a supportive school community.

OUR FOCUS THIS YEAR - 2023

1. School Camps - $5000 (supporting 4 camps especially the expensive senior camps)

2. Ice Blocks - A much loved feature of all Westmere Sport days and other events such as Charity Day and House Day

3. Pool Cover - In term one we replaced the pool cover $5100.
